Tyedric Hill

Tyedric Hill is an artist deeply rooted in Black cultural and social dance traditions. He explores their evolution and interconnections and as such is the perfect fit for BAZZ 2025! Inspired by his ancestors, who found solace in rhythm and movement, Tyedric carries their legacy through dance, honoring the cornerstones of Black art: personal authenticity, community, hope, and dignity. Having trained under Sugar Sullivan, Ryan Francois, Chester Whitmore, and Latasha Barnes, he consistently draws back to authentic jazz as the foundation of modern Black social dance. He is proficient in various styles, from authentic jazz and Lindy Hop to hip-hop and house, with a focus on preserving cultural lineage and personal style. Tyedric’s dedication to embodying the soulfulness of Black history is evident in his commitment to passing on the legacy of his mentors and ancestors to future generations. He is a powerful voice in the world, using his platform to honor the past while shaping the future of the global community.

Breonna Jordan

Some of Breonna’s most cherished childhood memories are of dancing at home with her siblings. Cooking, cleaning, roadtrips – music and dance was a part of everyday life. However, it wasn’t until she moved to New Orleans and experienced traditional jazz music for the first time, that she discovered her love for jazz dance!

Breonna has taught Lindy Hop and Vernacular Jazz at numerous international festivals and workshops. As a New Orleans-based instructor, she teaches at the Louis Armstrong Summer Jazz Camp, where she highlights the deep connections between music, dance, history, and authentic self expression.

Tomasa

As we are exploring the Latin Tinge in Jazz, we could not skip having an amazing Latin dancer that builds bridges between styles and  is distinct with her style! Meet Tomasa.
Tomasa comes straight from the French Caribbean , more precisely from Guadeloupe. She started learning salsa at the age of 9 and has never stopped since. Specialised in salsa On2, she also draws inspiration from various dance styles, such as contemporary, jazz, Afro-Cuban, heels, street jazz, and even flamenco. These diverse influences have allowed her to develop her own unique style. Today, as a salsa dancer, teacher, and choreographer, Tomasa is recognised in Paris and internationally for her distinctive style. Based in Paris, Tomasa champions a concept she calls “Musical Movement”: body movement in service of musicality. This concept aims to find a way to express one’s musicality through movement.

Suela

Suela is a leading Afrodance pioneer of Surinamese descent. Since 2013, she has been one of the first women in the Netherlands to make Afrodance big. She has danced for artists such as Ckay, Omah Lay and Maleek Berry and gave private lessons to Doutzen Kroes.
With Afrodance and her brand AfroPumps, she travels the world to help women embrace their feminine power and sensuality through dance. In 2019, she founded AfroPumps, with which she inspires women to feel confident and powerful on the dance floor.
She currently gives weekly Afrodance lessons in Amsterdam and continues to share her passion with a growing community. We feel super excited to welcome her at BAZZ as you see she is a natural fit to our creative ideas
